Did you able to find the particular Windows update which might have caused issues with touch keyboard. To assist you better, please provide us the below information: Thank you for your response with the current status of the issue. I am however loath to uninstall or roll back if it can be avoided. Given the keyboard can be activated manually and works fine, I am working on the theory that an update to Windows has somehow broken the automatic functionality. Yet it does appear as it should in one or two other apps. ![]() I wondered whether something had changed with Chrome, so I tried other apps such as MS Word and Edge. As far as I can tellĮvery setting related to this is as it should be. I have so far checked all related settings and can confirm that the keyboard is set to appear automatically for tablet apps. It had previously worked just fine with that app, and I still can manually start the keyboard and enter data. The tablet, a Toshiba Encore running Windows 10, was working flawlessly until one day recently when I noticed the touch keyboard would no longer appear when I clicked fields in applications such as Chrome in tablet mode. Wondering if someone can help resolve a problem that's just developed with my tablet.
